PROMISING MULTIFUNCTIONAL ANIONITES FOR THE EXTRACTION OF CHROMIUM (VI) IONS

چکیده
30% of the chromium ore reserves in world are concentrated Kazakhstan, during processing which large volumes wastewater containing toxic salts, formed. Сhromium is one priority components both terms emission and toxicity (for Cr(VI), maximum permissible concentration 0.05 mg/l). The compounds (III) especially (VI) have a general toxic, allergenic, carcinogenic, mutagenic effect on human body, among most dangerous pollutants for environment. aim this work to develop technological scheme extraction Cr ions by multifunctional ion exchangers. Methods. Anionite, based diglycidyl ether dioxyphenylpropane, allylglycidyl polyethylenimine – Ionite No. 1 has been synthesized polycondensation, epoxyamine from benzylamine epichlorohydrin, condensation No.2 obtained with polyethylenimine. sorption newly anionites studied, using model solutions concentrations 25, 50, 75 100 mg/l (VI). Results discussion. It established that No.1 exhibits greater affinity ions. So, its capacity 13.5, 11.7 mg/g. Conclusion. We proposed basic desalination plant, consisting modular units: reagent-mechanical, sorption, membrane, exchange bacterial purification. reagentmechanical purification initial stage water treatment, designed isolate insoluble coarse- fine-dispersed impurities.

Solvent Extraction Of Chromium (VI) From Aqueous
The extraction of chromium (VI) from hydrochloric, hydrobromic, and acetic acid solutions with Tri caprylamine oxide (TCAO) in benzene has been studied. The extractions from hydrochloric and hydrobromic, acid solutions are nearly quantitative and are partial from acetic acid solutions. The optimum conditions for extraction were established from the study of the effect of several variables like–...
متن کاملUse of Sawdust of Aspen Tree for the Removal of Chromium (VI) from Aqueous Solution
Adsorption capacity of Cr (VI) onto sawdust of aspen tree and activated sawdust, was investigated in a batch system by considering the effects of various parameters like contact time, initial concentration, pH , temperature, agitation speed, absorbent dose and particle size. Cr (VI) removal is pH dependent and caused to be maximum at pH 2.0. The amounts of Cr(VI) adsorbed increased with increas...

Chromium (VI), also known as hexavalent chromium, is the second most stable oxidation state of chromium. Rarely occurring naturally, most chromium (VI) compounds are manufactured (products or by-products). Chromium (VI) can be reduced to the more stable chromium (III) in the presence of reducing agents (e.g. iron) or oxidizable organic matter (OSHA, 2006). Selected chemical and physical propert...
